We were invited to Winter Solstice 2018 at Teknisk Museum by Vandaler Forening.

The Winter Solstice is a roaming nocturnal art project and cross-disciplinary happening materialising in Oslo during the longest night of the year, initiated in 2012 by Vandaler forening. The event aims to gather the local audience around various practices of both emerging and established artists, offering a unique opportunity to experience art works through the night combined with performances, concerts, poetry readings, plays and even yoga sessions.

This was our first performance as a trio. Joakim Blattmann was playing on his guitar processed through various effect pedals and run through Ableton. He was also in charge of processed field recordings. Helene Rickhard was playing on Volca Keys, Roland SH-01 and Roland D-05. I was playing on a Volca FM with Arturia Keystep and running my own field recordings with Bastl Microgranny. All instrumentation was run though a Boss Loop Station and a Boss RV-6 reverb.

The concert lasted for 40 minutes as we went through pads, soundscapes, field recordings, processed guitar and crunchy synthesizer leads and keys.
